Sometimes we just feel like doing a little DIY dur

Sometimes we just feel like doing a little DIY during the weekend. 🛠️🧰
Getting out the old tools from the shed, sitting outside in the sun, some good tunes on, carefully painting an old chest of drawers to freshen our house up a bit. ☀️🎵

And sometimes… we just DON’T. 😐

Because exploring our inner Picasso (or messy inner child) with brightly coloured paint is one thing; assembling that indecipherable conundrum of a bookshelf is an entirely different matter. ⁉️🤯

We would much rather take advantage of the great weather to pack a picnic and get some fresh countryside air, or simply sit in the garden with a good book. 🌳🌸📖

There’s no shame in that.

The interlocking dovetail joints which flatly refused to join together despite our best efforts, have been hastily stuffed back into their boxes. And those boxes are currently still in the living room gathering dust and verbal abuse from each unfortunate family member who has happened to trip up on them. 📦📦🤬

Why would we want to go back to that nightmare?! 🤷
